An attorney at Meyer Wilson, Daniel R. Freytag graduated magna cum laude from Wittenberg University and summa cum laude from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University.

Having practiced as a trial lawyer for more than thirty-four years, Mr. Freytag has personally represented hundreds of large corporations, small businesses, professionals and individuals in a wide variety of tort, insurance and business cases including much complex litigation. In the year prior to joining Meyer Wilson, Mr. Freytag acted as co-counsel in the representation of a young man rendered quadriplegic as a consequence of the carelessness of others.

Through the years, Mr. Freytag has personally examined or cross-examined more than 1000 lay witnesses and more than 150 expert witnesses (including nationally recognized experts); conducted jury and court trials; and handled appeals.

Mr. Freytag is licensed to practice law in all Ohio state courts and is a member of bars of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Mr. Freytag also has appeared in certain state or federal courts in Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

At Meyer Wilson, Mr. Freytag is engaged in the representation of clients in the securities litigation and class action practices.
